2000 years ago a remarkable event took place; God the creator of the universe became a man. As if that wasn’t staggering enough, this God/man Jesus Christ though he lived his life for the good of others was rejected, mocked and ultimately killed by those he came to save. He died in shame and agony upon a Roman cross all the while loving his executioners
